What is the support policy for using IBM WebSphere Integration Developer version 7.0 on 64-bit operating systems for Microsoft Windows or Linux?
Cause
The 7.0 version of this application is not designed to take advantage of 64-bit computing and only uses 32-bit technology.
Answer
WebSphere Integration Developer is only supported when running in 32-bit mode on 64-bit operating systems. For example,
- WebSphere Integration Developer running in 32-bit mode on Windows XP Professional x64 Edition (running on an AMD or Intel processor) is supported.
- WebSphere Integration Developer running in 32-bit mode on Red Hat Linux Enterprise Server 4 (running on x86 64-bit hardware) is supported.
