Abstract
This document describes how to download IBM WebSphere Application Server Version 7.0 Feature Pack for eXtensible Markup Language (XML) for Windows installation images from the IBM Passport Advantage Online Web site.

The Feature Pack for XML is an optionally installable product extension for WebSphere Application Server Version 7.0 that provides application developers with support for the XSLT 2.0, XPath 2.0, and XQuery 1.0 Worldwide Web Consortium (W3C) XML standards. This programming model offers developers innovative capabilities for simplifying the development of XML-based and document-centric applications.

Space requirements
Feature Pack for XML
- 70 MB of free space available in your target installation directory (in addition to the space required by the application server product installation)
- 30 MB of free space available in your temporary directory for the compressed installation files
- 30 MB of free space available in your temporary directory for the extracted installation files
Installation Manager
- 160 MB of free space available in your target installation directory
- 100 MB of free space available in your temporary directory for the compressed installation files
- 120 MB of free space available in your temporary directory for the extracted installation files
Local repositories
- 40 MB of free space available in your target directory
- 40 MB of free space available in your temporary directory for the compressed installation files
Downloading and assembling the product
- Navigate your browser to the Find Downloads and Media Web page on the IBM Passport Advantage Online Web site.
- Select the Find by part number search option under Download finder options.
- Search for each downloadable image by part number.
- Download all of the required parts.
- Use a file extracting utility that supports large file extractions to unpack each of the parts into a single, temporary directory on your system.
