Problem

WebSphere Application Server validation failed during Managing Server installation.

Symptom

During the Managing Server installation, one of the following errors may appear at the WebSphere Server validation step:
 
  • BWMCR8403E - The password is not correct for the user specified.
  • CYNCR9214E - An error occurred while trying to validate the WebSphere Application Server information entered on this panel.
