WebSphere Application Server for IBM iVersion 9.0 Fixpacks

WebSphere Application Server, Version 9.0, is installed on IBM i as option 2 of licensed program 5733W90, WebSphere Application Server V9.0 for for IBM i.

Installing fix packs

The WebSphere Application Server V9.0.0.11 fix pack can be applied using the IBM Web Administration for i Console or by using the IBM Installation Manager command line.

IBM installation manager

IBM Installation Manger version 1.8.5 or higher is required to install WebSphere Application Server fix packs. Please see How to Download and Install/Upgrade the IBM Installation Manager (IM) for the IBM i for instructions on how to install and upgrade IBM Installation Manager on IBM i.

Cumulative package

  • This level (V9.0.0.11) of WebSphere Application Server was tested with the V7R3 Cumulative PTF Package C8242730. You may be able to successfully run with later cumulative PTF package.
  • This level (V9.0.0.11) of WebSphere Application Server was tested with the V7R2 Cumulative PTF Package C8249720. You may be able to successfully run with later cumulative PTF package.
