webMethods Knowlegebase : Wrong error message reported while sending wrong XML data (1780894)

Troubleshooting

Problem

After installing OFT Adapter 9.0 Fix 5 (“OFT_9.0_Fix5”) to resolve an issue with Adapter going to a loop while sending incorrect (mal formed) XML files, the generated log-message is not correct and useful.

Error message is generated as:

Saving of a OFTP payload failed. %WORKDIR%/InboundFailedFiles/null corresponds to bizdoc5cgsj200bbtn0lud000000v3

It should be something like:

Saving of a OFTP payload failed. /data/rvsEVO/InboundFailedFiles/msg_14455C1A5AF2F853.xml corresponds to bizdoc: 5cgsj200bbtn0lud000000v3
