webMethods Knowlegebase : Web Service output is not getting binded to JSF component type "htmltextinput" in CAF application (1772957)

Troubleshooting

Problem

While creating portlet application using .xhtml, observed following error message in MWS UI:

"Failed to evaluate binding expression: "#{Passport_ScreensDefaultxhtmlView.passportControlService.result.passportControlServiceResponse.passportDataOutput.name}"

Scenario: When a Component type "input->textinput" is dragged in portlet canvas and binded to web service connector output.

Note: the same scenario is working fine in wM 8.2 version.
