Troubleshooting
Problem
Customer is going to migrate from SUSE 11 to SUSE 12.
They have installed the application in new servers on SUSE 12 and tested with a separate database in SUSE 12. During the cut over they will rename the hostname, so SUSE 12 servers will use the same hostname/IP as currently. Customer identified the properties files that will need a change in the hostname or IP, these are:
com.softwareag.catalina.resource.pid-agileappsRN.properties
com.softwareag.catalina.resource.pid-agileappsQuartz.properties
com.softwareag.catalina.resource.pid-agileappsRedundant.properties
network.properties
However, they also identified eclipse directories with files that reference hostnames (in particular the database hostname that will be renamed during cut over).
Here are the sub-directory paths:
configuration\org.eclipse.osgi
configuration\org.eclipse.osgi\.manager
\configuration\org.eclipse.osgi\72\0\.cp\jars
\configuration\org.eclipse.osgi\159\data\store
\configuration\org.eclipse.osgi\164\data
\configuration\org.eclipse.osgi\183\data
\configuration\org.eclipse.osgi\183\data\listener_1925729951
And example file names:
\configuration\org.eclipse.osgi\159\data\store\data2243290655933743367.cfg.1

Do these Eclipse files play a role in running the application?
If so, does customer has to rename the hostname in these files?
