webMethods Knowlegebase : Namespace prefix issue (1762676)

Troubleshooting

Problem

When generating a consumer webservice in Designer, from a WSDL, were namespaces are explicitly defined, all generated elements in webMethods has this prefix.

When these inputs and outputs are widely used in application, and because of these prefix, users have to map field by field the documents fields to the input of this service.

Why is the prefix kept when webservice descriptor is created, knowing that the prefix are only necessary for SOAP/XML?

Is there a way to avoid these prefix to be taken into account in all generated docTypes as this represent a big load of work?
