webMethods Knowlegebase : JDBC DB2 AS400 Connection Error. (1718507)

Problem

We are trying to setup a connection to AS400 DB2 V5R4M0 using JDBC v65 Fix16 and JTOpen v4.8 with IS v65 SP1. WmART Fix 7 was also applied. This connection is returning the following message:

resource DBConnections:DB2DBAdapter_CBLDW_Target.

[ART.118.5063] Adapter Runtime (Connection): Unable to start connection

DBConnections:DB2DBAdapter_CBLDW_Target: after 1 attempt(s).

[ART.118.5036] Adapter Runtime (Connection): Unable to configure

connection manager.

[ADA.1.204] Cannot connect to the database with DataSource class

"com.ibm.as400.access.AS400JDBCDataSource".

The application requester cannot establish the connection. (Connection

refused)

There are also instances of following error
