webMethods Knowlegebase : JDBC Connection Issue - The server selected protocol version TLS10 is not accepted by client preferences

Troubleshooting

Problem

We have a JDBC connection (LOCAL TRANSACTION) created for connecting to a SQL server using com.microsoft.sqlserver.jdbc.SQLServerConnectionPoolDataSource. However, when we try to enable the connection, we are getting the error message:-

[ART.118.5011] Adapter Runtime (Connection): Unable to create new connection XXX [ADA.1.204] Cannot connect to the database with DataSource class "com.microsoft.sqlserver.jdbc.SQLServerConnectionPoolDataSource". The driver could not establish a secure connection to SQL Server by using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption. Error: "The server selected protocol version TLS10 is not accepted by client preferences [TLS13, TLS12, TLS11]".

The same connection is working fine in our 9.12 instance. Attached with the connection properties
