webMethods Knowlegebase : Issue with empty payload and Transfer-Encoding header is also set as Chunked

Troubleshooting

Problem

When Status Code "200" is received with an empty payload and the Transfer-Encoding header is also set as Chunked. When there is no payload, the REST clients could either fail or timeout. The integration server would wait for the 20s to see if it can read the chunk. Since there is no payload, it timeout and sends the response back.

This may cause unnecessary communication delays in sending responses.
