webMethods Knowlegebase : How to set various parameters in pub.client:restClient (1802098)

Troubleshooting

Problem

We have a Representational State Transfer (REST) service which works fine from a browser:

http://www.oanda.com/rates/api/v1/rates/INR.xml?api_key=xxxxxx&quote=USD

We tried to use pub.client:restClient, but it keeps throwing null pointer error.

host=www.oanda.com

httpMethod=GET

scheme=HTTP

produces=application/xml

consumes=application/xml

The services always returns NullPointerException: null

How is it possible to set the various parameters in this service, such as path, basePath, apiKey, query etc..
