webMethods Knowlegebase : Having issues trying to install (1800935)

Troubleshooting


Problem

We are trying to install a 9.8 instance that is required for the staging and migration for our upgrade from 8.2 to 10.3.

The earliest version we can find is cc.installer=cc-def-9.10-fix9-sol.sh, but no matter what we try it complains of a mismatch.

How can we overcome this issue?

Can you provide us with a cc-def-9.9-fixX-sol.sh

"11:21:14 internal IDW> product e2ei/11/WIR_10.3.0.0.188/Infrastructure/CustomInstall must be 7.1 or greater

11:21:14 debug IDWP> compare installed WIR version 10.3.0 to remote WIR version 9.8.0

11:21:14 error IDW> trying to install older version Version 9.8.0.0.169 013015 on top of an existing newer version 10.3.0.0.188

11:21:14 error ID> message text: This upgrade path is not supported. See the upgrade guide for your product for supported paths."
