Problem
Does MWS supports full-blown connection descriptors like the following for its own database (set by URL parameter in mws.db.xml file)?
jdbc:oracle:thin:@(DESCRIPTION = (ADDRESS_LIST = (ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = TCP)(HOST = host1)(PORT = 1521)) (ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = TCP)(HOST = host2)(PORT = 1521)) (ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = TCP)(HOST = host3)(PORT = 1521)) (ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = TCP)(HOST = host4)(PORT = 1521))) (CONNECT_DATA = (SERVER = DEDICATED) (SERVICE_NAME = servicename)))
Customer is asking this because their system does only use a simple connection string which does not enable failover handling nor load-balancing.
