webMethods Knowlegebase : Database Failover Configuration Conflicts with AgileApps (1785912)

Troubleshooting

Problem

Configured database server in TEST to do automated failover.

It needs to be on for the high-availability failover.

By next day when trying to install a package, received the following error message:

"Statement violates GTID consistency: CREATE TEMPORARY TABLE and DROP TEMPORARY TABLE can only be executed outside transactional context. These statements are also not allowed in a function or trigger because functions and triggers are also considered to be multi-statement transactions. "

The GTID configuration was turned on in order to implement the automated database failover.

Is AgileApps not compatible with automated database failover for MySQL?

Are there some parameters the site needs to change in AgileApps?

If the DBA diables GTID, in case of a failover, to restore the master would require some down-time.
