webMethods Knowlegebase : 9.8 to 10.3 Migration error when migrating IS server between different platforms (1800034)

Troubleshooting


Problem

A migration from 9.8 Integration Server on Windows platform, to 10.3 Linux platform is attempted. Performing the migration through migration scripts, it is failing when the below 2 options are selected:

Migrate JAAS configurations? [Y]Yes or [N]No: Y

Migrate Java Service Wrapper customizations? [Y]Yes or [N]No: Y

Exception:

com.wm.app.b2b.server.migrate.MigrationException: Source installation directory (/applic/softwareag/log98windev_bkup) uses 'Microsoft Windows x86-64' platform, while destination installation directory (/applic/softwareag/wm103/log_tms_is) uses 'Linux RHEL and SLES x86-64'.
