Abstract

This video is the first of a two-part series that discusses all aspects of hosting Web Services in CICS Transaction Server for z/OS (CICS TS). In this video, CICS developer Paul Cooper provides an overview of CICS web services application development for CICS Transaction Server for z/OS. The focus is on how applications can be exposed as web services and what you do to make that happen. You will learn about development, deployment, and testing of CICS web services, for XML and JSON. You will also learn about customization opportunities and things to watch out for.
