Troubleshooting
Problem
The user is experiencing slowness in the Spectrum UI. Commands that are run via the command line respond quickly but the web UI is slow to respond or doesn't list information at all in some cases (ex. EgoServices list screen in the UI).
Symptom
1. Run command "egosh service list", the response is very slow.
2. Check vemkd performance log, vemkd chanpoll function is only 30 seconds. Authentication function takes around 200 seconds.
3. elk-shipper instances running on 121 hosts caused egosc super slow. In turns, WEBGUI became super slow because it pending on response from egosc to get service list. We run following command "egosh service instance stop -s elk-shipper {1..100}" to shutdown 100 elk-shipper instances and the GUI become much better.
