Enabling Software Installation on Linux Systems -
"Contact product support for information about creating SELinux policies that enable the Watson Explorer modules to coexist with active SELinux policy enforcement."
Content
The following text should be removed from the Knowledge Center document for v9, v10, v11, v11.0.1 in regards to SElinux and
Enabling Software Installation on Linux Systems
this statement -
"Contact product support for information about creating SELinux policies that enable the Watson Explorer modules to coexist with active SELinux policy enforcement."
is incorrect. The part that needs removed is "Contact product support for information about creating ..." The part about SELinux policy files need to be created to exempt the WEX directories is correct, but it is the Linux admin that makes those policy files, not IBM product support.

Configuring Linux policy files is done by the Linux administrator not by IBM product support. Thus, those statements were mistakenly added.
Here are links to Redhat Linux documentation in reference to SE Linux Policy files:
"To run custom applications with SELinux in enforcing mode, choose one of the following scenarios:
Run your application in the unconfined_service_t domain. See Section 3.2, “Unconfined Processes” for more information.
Write a new policy for your application. See the Writing Custom SELinux Policy Knowledgebase article for more information."
