Problem
We are running Wepshere Portal Server (WPS) with 2 nodes and a load balancer and WAS 8.5.5. WPS is integrated with WCA. When creating a seedlist crawler in WCA 3.5 , the crawler runs for X number of files and then fails, as if there is a timeout. The prompt received is a HTTP 500 server error as seen below: FFQD5906E The crawler received an unexpected HTTP status code, 500, when accessing //...:443/.../seedlist/myserver?Action=GetDocuments&Start=300&Range=100&Format=atom&Locale=en_US&Source=com.ibm.workplace.wcm.plugins.seedlist.retriever.WCMRetrieverFactory&SeedlistId= After trying the following URL in a browser the following error is displayed: SEEDLISTAPI0002E An internal error occurred - Java Exception Message: SeedlistException: SeedlistMessage0: SEVERITY_ERROR: SeedlistMessage ID: [] Resource Bundle: [] SeedlistMessage Text: [EJQHE0026E: A crawler tried to send a second request to fetch remaining WCM contents for a site area ([Ljava.lang.String;@....). Unfortunately there was no cache key, which could mean that the crawler has been stopped manually before or there might have been an unexpected exception. As this is not a valid scenario. you need to re-crawl your site.]
