Question
How do I resolve the following NPS upgrade error: "WARNING: Mount of /dev/shm failed"?
Answer
During an NPS upgrade, the following error appeared:
- WARNING: Mount of /dev/shm failed: mount: /dev/shm not mounted already, or bad option
You will need to re-mount before nzstart.WARNING: Mount of /dev/shm failed on standby host 'ha2': mount: /dev/shm not mounted already, or bad option
The solution is to re-mount the temporary filesystem as follows:
- mount /dev/shm
