A warning message for WebSphere Process Server (WPS) occurs while accessing Common Base Event browser

Troubleshooting

Problem

When you open the Common Base Event browser from the administrative console, you see the NMSV0612W warning message the first time you open it. The message does not display for subsequent attempts.

Symptom

In the SystemOut.log file, you see the following exceptions:

[6/8/08 13:32:28:093 CST] 0000002b Helpers       W   NMSV0612W: A NameNotFoundException occurred on an indirect lookup on the name "java:comp/env/eventsaccess". The name "java:comp/env/eventsaccess" maps to a JNDI name in deployment descriptor bindings for the application performing the JNDI lookup. Make sure that the JNDI name mapping in the deployment descriptor binding is correct. If the JNDI name mapping is correct, make sure the target resource can be resolved with the specified name relative to the default initial context. NameNotFoundException data follows:
javax.naming.NameNotFoundException: Context: l3a0688Cell01/nodes/l3a0688CellManager01/servers/dmgr, name: ejb/com/ibm/events/access/EventAccess: First component in name com/ibm/events/access/EventAccess not found. Resolving The Problem

The Common Base Event browser tries to find out if it can use the default JNDI, which causes the warning to be displayed in the systemout.log file. This situation only occurs when the Common Base Event browser is accessed the first time. You can safely ignore this warning
