Problem
If VM instance gets stuck in building state or in error state upon deployment, we can use the below command to delete the instance:
powervc-config compute delete-instance-build-state --instance_id <<paste-instance-id-here>>
This is applicable in both scenarios - VM in building state and VM in error state.
It takes around 10 minutes to reflect the change in PowerVC GUI, based on the periodic sync interval.
Effective PowerVC 2.0.3 and later.
