This video shows how to enable the recording of AIX shared processor pool statistics. This is activated from the HMC and allows a greater level of CPU performance monitoring in a multiple AIX partition environment.
Turning on the "app" (available processors in the pool) monitoring option is often useful for performance analysis. Turning it on does not impact your system's performance and allows measuring of available/free CPU resources in CPU shared pool.
