Problem
In the FileNet Content Platform Engine (CPE) Configuration Manager tool a copy menu File> Save Copy of Profile As is used to create a copy of the existing opened profile.
For any action, either closing the profile or exiting Configuration Manager tool, going back and attempting to open the copied profile gets an error that the profile version is not compatible with the Configuration Manager version.
Symptom
Profile copies made with Configuration Manager tool menu File > Save Copy of Profile As appear to not work after created.
Attempts to open that profile displays the following error:
The profile version is not compatible with the Configuration Manager version. For profiles created using a prior release, use the Upgrade Profile action (File -> Upgrade Profile) to upgrade. For profiles created using a later release, use the matching version of the Configuration Manager.
