How do you identify the version information of the IBM® WebSphere® Application Server (WAS) which is used in conjunction with IBM Rational® Portfolio Manager (RPM).
Answer
Run Version Info.bat.
The location of Version Info.bat is
C:\Program Files\IBM\WebSphere\AppServer\profiles\AppSrv01\bin.
Version Info.bat produces the following output for example:
WVER0010I: Copyright (c) IBM Corporation 2002; All rights reserved.
WVER0011I: WebSphere Application Server Release 6.0
WVER0012I: Version Info Reporter Version 1.15, Dated 9/20/03
