Troubleshooting
Problem
This document describes the CHKPRDOPT command.
Resolving The Problem
The Check Product Option (CHKPRDOPT) command can be used to verify that a licensed program is fully installed. On an operating system command line, type the following:
CHKPRDOPT PRDID(xxxxxxx) OPTION(y)
where xxxxxxx is the product ID of the licensed program to be verified and y is *ALL, *BASE for the base product, or a numeric value for the particular option. Use the Display Job Log (DSPJOBLOG) command, then press F10 and page up to ensure both the language (usually 2924 for English) and 5050 for the base code are correctly installed.
To find the product option, on an operating system command line, type the following:
DSPSFWRSC
The product option is listed next to the product ID.
Or, on an operating system command line, type the following:
GO LICPGM
Select Option 10, and Press F11 two times.
DSPSFWRSC example:
5770SS1 *BASE 5050 Operating System/400

5770SS1 1 5050 OS/400 - Extended Base Support

5770SS1 1 5050 *CODE QSYS2 V7R1M0
