Problem
Look-up for Project ID Does Not Work in Cost Management Application
Symptom
OVERVIEW:
After entering the values in the Start and End dates in Cost Management, the look-up on the Work Order Tracking still works, but it will not display the record that had the dates added. It will still display the other projects.
STEPS:
1. Go to the Application Designer application
Bring up WOTRACK application
Add a textbox for WORKORDER.FCPROJECTID attribute with a lookup of PARENTPROJECT
Add a textbox for WORKORDER.FCTASKID with a lookup of PARENTTASK

2. Create a new project in the Cost Management application
Populate the start date (FINCNTRL.STARTDATE) with the current date
Enter a future date for the end date (FINCNTRL.ENDDATE)
3. Go to Work Order Tracking application
Click on the lookup besides the Project ID field
The Project ID lookup does not return any values
5. Go back to Cost Management application
Bring up the same project from step 2 above
Delete the start and end dates
Go back to Work Order Tracking application
Create a new work order
Click on the lookup besides Project ID
The look-up will display the Project ID again
