Troubleshooting
Problem
The WebSphere Service Registry and Repository (WSRR) CLI will connect to both secure and non-secure WSRR instances. When connecting to a secure WSRR instance, typically a username and password would be supplied to the CLI on the command line. For some users this is not acceptable because passwords appear in plain text. This technote describes the process for enabling secure logins using property files typically used in WebSphere client environments.
