Troubleshooting


Problem

Making a view with 'enable for mobile devices' enabled And included some pages in that view when opening dashboard/webgui from mobile device you get an empty screen with no options in the sidebar!

Resolving The Problem

The WebGUI portlets/widgets we typically seen (e.g. Filter/View builder, EV), doesn't support browsers on mobile devices, where they use large cache (ie. thick client design) that is NOT available from mobile devices. Thus, Web GUI had developed limited thin-client pages for executive use/view only.

Near the bottom of this page, you would see the Support for mobile devices section, where Some Web GUI functions can be displayed on mobile devices, include Event Dashboard, Event List, and Gauges.
