Using table elements for content VPs in RPT-SAP GUI scripts

Troubleshooting


Problem

When you configure a content verification point based on a table element in an RPT-SAP GUI script, the verification point fails incorrectly.

Symptom


The trace-robotic.log and the Violated Value column in the Verification Point Failures workspace include the following message:

Exception: The control could not be found by id.

The following is a sample trace message from the trace-robotic.log. This example shows raising a verification point alert when the string 'Canceled' is present in a specific table element on the page.
