Summary
In general, when installing a new kibana plugin, you need to un-tar all its contents in a dedicated directory placed in the kibana pod, at following path: /usr/share/kibana/plugins
For example, logtrail.tar will be extracted in /usr/share/kibana/plugins/logtrail
However, in order to avoid that above changes are lost with pod restart, you can manually customize the kibana deployment as explained below.
