Problem
This document provides information on how to use iSeries Navigator to view the NTP log.
Resolving The Problem
The NTP logs can be viewed from iSeries Navigator by doing the following:
1. Start iSeries Navigator and expand Connection.
2. Expand File Systems.
3. Expand Integrated File System.
4. Right click on Integrated File System and select Properties.
5. Select the All files radio button.
6. In the File extension field, add .txt if it is currently not showing, and select OK at the bottom of the window.
7. Expand path Root/QIBM/UserData/OS400/TCPIP/NTP.
8. Right click on one of the NTP log files, and rename the file so that it has an extension of .txt.
9. Right click on the file and select edit. You will now be able to view the details of the log file.
