Using IBM Security Key Lifecycle Manager with VMware vCenter Server for VM and vSAN encryption

How To

Summary

The VMware vSphere VM Encryption feature introduced in VSphere 6.5 enables the encryption of the virtual machine (VM) home files (VMX, snapshots, and so on) and the virtual disks (VMDK's). The vSAN Encryption feature encrypts the vSAN datastore.

You can use IBM Security Key Lifecycle Manager as the key management server (KMS) with the vCenter Server to manage the keys that are used for encryption.
