Using Data Transfer Modes
BothASCII and Binary transfer modes are used for data transfers (see RFC959). ASCII mode is the default and is intended for transferring textfiles.
The following table contains summaries of the behavior of the Sterling B2B CollaborationNetwork whencommon FTP client commands are sent in ASCII transfer mode.
