Abstract
This white paper will demonstrate how to compile a map and to translate a data file using a command line prompt when using Sterling Gentran:Server for Microsoft Windows.
Content
Invoking translation for Gentran:Server for Microsoft Windows using a command line is a simple way to test maps without the GUI interface of Gentran:Server Microsoft Windows. Invoking translation from a command line can be a helpful tool for testing maps on a system prior to moving the maps into production.
Note: Invoking translation from a command line is not supported when running in a production environment. The command line functionality of the translator for Gentran:Server for Microsoft Windows is intended to be used only as a testing tool.
