Problem
The z/OS utility AMAPDUPL (also known as the Problem Documentation Upload Utility or PDUU) returns message AMA756E, THE PMR SPECIFIED IS NOT 13 CHARACTERS IN LENGTH, when using a Salesforce Case number instead of a PMR number. The fix for APAR OA54086 adds Case number support to AMAPDUPL.
Symptom
Attempting to use a Salesforce Case number instead of a PMR number in AMAPDUPL results in message
AMA756E
THE PMR SPECIFIED IS NOT 13 CHARACTERS IN LENGTH
Cause
AMAPDUPL originally supported only PMR numbers, not Salesforce Case numbers.
Resolving The Problem
Install the fix for APAR OA54086 to support both PMR and Case numbers.
