Troubleshooting
Problem
Users are not able to log in to WebGUI using user ID from object server but they can log in using default file-based user (typically smadmin).
Symptom
The SystemOut.log logs shows following errors:
com.ibm.tivoli.tip.vmm4ncos.ObjectServerAdapter getEntity CWWIM5020E could not connect to the Netcool OMNIbus ObjectServer repository by using properties: NCOS VMM plug-in could not connect to the primary ObjectServer
Caused by: java.sql.SQLException: NCOS VMM plug-in could not connect to the primary ObjectServer.
At com.ibm.tivoli.ncw.ncosvmm.sql.FailBackDataSourceSelector.getDataSource(FailBackDataSourceSelector.java:128)
