"User program exit code: 1618" error installing TWS on Windows

Troubleshooting


Problem

The installation of Tivoli Workload Scheduler (TWS) on a Windows platform fails at the "Install with roll back Tivoli Workload Scheduler agent" step.

Symptom

The TWS installation fails with the following error:-
