"User not authenticated" in Guardium Data Encryption Log Message

Troubleshooting


Problem

After setting up Guardium Data Encryption Expert ("GDEE", "GDE", or Guardium "DEE"), users configured for access in the security policy are denied access or denied encryption services. In some cases, users see inconsistent access across several login sessions.

Symptom

"User not authenticated" error messages in log files.

Unexpected file system access granted or denied.

Unable to enforce security policy.

Inconsistent policy enforcement.
