z/OS DFSORT V2R1 PTF UI40659 and z/OS DFSORT V2R2 PTF UI40658, which were first made available in September, 2016, provide important performance improvements for several DFSORT functions that generate code at run time. DFSORT's new performance improvements delivered by PTFs UI40658 and UI40659 will improve performance in both CPU and elapsed times. The white paper is the documentation for PTFs UI40659 and UI40658.
