How to write a batch script to set environment variables for including rules and rulesets in a Logiscope project settings.

Answer

Steps to set the environment variable in a batch script are given below

1. Open the 'wordpad.exe' tool from the run window.

2. Type the command:


set LOG_RULE_ENV=%path to the directory containing the rule and rulesets%

         %path to the Logiscope executable file (VCS.exe)%

         Example:  set LOG_RULE_ENV=C:\Ref\Rules\C\

                              C:\Telelogic\Logiscope\Logiscope_6.6\bin\VCS.exe

3. Save the file with the extension .bat in MS-DOS Format.

4. Executing the script with invoke the tool and include the rule and rulesets in Logiscope
