The system may be any of the following IBM servers:

Solution

This behavior will be corrected in a future release of ServerGuide 7.3.
The target date for the release is scheduled for 1st quarter, 2005, and will be available from the ServerGuide Electronic fulfillment web site.
Workaround
---
Use a PS/2 mouse instead of a USB mouse.
If a PS/2 mouse is available, you may also plug in two USB mice. The second USB mouse will work.
Additional information
---
ServerGuide uses a complex algorithm to determine which type of mouse is plugged into the system.
Certain hardware configurations have caused an unexpected error in this algorithm causing ServerGuide to disable the first USB mouse plugged into the system.
