Abstract
This document provides the instructions for upgrading existing installations of IBM Robotic Process Automation (IBM RPA) with Automation Anywhere 19.0.0.x to 19.0.0.3.

Downloading the cumulative fix
The cumulative fix is available for download from IBM Support Fix Central.
Download packages
There are separate upgrading packages for IBM RPA Express and IBM RPA Enterprise. Download the appropriate package for your installation.

Upgrading IBM RPA 19.0.0.x to IBM RPA 19.0.0.3
During the upgrade process, the previous version of IBM RPA Control Room is removed and then IBM RPA 19.0.0.3 is installed.
Before you upgrade
You are strongly advised to back up your existing IBM RPA environment so you can roll back your environment if you encounter issues during or after the upgrade.
Upgrading your installation
To upgrade IBM RPA 19.0.0.x to 19.0.0.3, follow the instructions in Upgrading to IBM RPA 19.0.0.3 in the product documentation.
Post-upgrade tasks
IBM RPA 19.0.0.3 includes a required update for bot agents. To install the update, complete the following steps:
- Uninstall existing bot agents by using the uninstall.bat utility. By default, this utility is available here: C:\Program Files\Automation Anywhere\BotAgent\uninstall.
- Log into Control Room.
- Click the device icon in the header and then Add local bot agent.
- Click Connect to my computer and then Manually download the latest version.
- Unzip the downloaded rpaClient.zip file and run installRPAClient.bat.
