Upgrading the Building Information Models applications
Two applications from the IBM Maximo Asset Management extension for Building Information Models (BIM) in the ISM Library are now available in Maximo Asset Management 7.6.0.6. You can upgrade your current deployment of these Building Information Models (BIM) applications from IBM Maximo Asset Management 7.5.0.5 to use in Maximo Asset Management 7.6.0.6.

Before you begin

Shut down any application server where Maximo Asset Management is installed.

Ensure that no database configuration changes are pending and back up your database.

Back up the <install_home>\deployment\buildmaximoear.xml file. The file is overwritten during the installation of the fix pack.

About this task
