Abstract
The installation instructions explain how to use the Update Installer to install patches and fix packs on IBM Information Server, Version 8.1, as well as how to install Version 8.1.1 and Version 8.1.2 for IBM InfoSphere Information Analyzer, IBM InfoSphere Business Glossary, IBM InfoSphere Metadata Workbench, and IBM InfoSphere FastTrack.

Important:
If you install a product module, note the following information:
- Release notes for product modules are provided in the file release_notes.html.
- You cannot uninstall IBM InfoSphere Information Analyzer, Version 8.1.1 and Version 8.1.2, IBM InfoSphere Business Glossary, Version 8.1.1 and Version 8.1.2, IBM InfoSphere Metadata Workbench, Version 8.1.1 and Version 8.1.2, or IBM InfoSphere FastTrack, Version 8.1.1 and Version 8.1.2.
