File /dev/null does not have read access which causes the Unix/Linux adapter recon to fail on Aix 6.1. After adding the read access on /dev/null permission as 766, the recon is successful. Environment TIM 5.1 TDI - 7.0 RMI - 5.1.8 Adapter - 5.1.10 AIX server- 6.1
