Problem
Performing an install or upgrade fails with a pop-up window which displays the message "The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable"
Symptom
The following pop-up is displayed when trying to perform an install or upgrade of a software product:
Cause
This error is the result of a problem with the Microsoft operating system environment. The error may occur for any software product, including the Tivoli Storage Manager server, storage agent, client or other products.
Resolving The Problem
The use of the Microsoft uninstaller tool may be required to uninstall the problematic software component.
