Unable to stop email notifications for SMTP server

Troubleshooting


Problem

While enabling SMTP on Atlas versions 6.0.3.7.1 and 6.0.3.2 for testing, unwanted alerts are being generated which belongs to the owner with system admin role.
Below is the example:
You have received an Atlas alert.

Date: Jul 24, 2019 8:00 PM
Subject : SMTP CONNECTION FAILURE:
An attempt to connect to SMTP server nullwith port 2525 failed. System cannot send email notifications till this problem is resolved.
