IBM Support

Unable to start the standby Content Manager

Troubleshooting

Problem

Both the Content Managers start without an issue if they are independant of each other. However when the second Content Manager is configured with the first one to be a standby Content Manager then the standby Content Manager fails to start.

Symptom

Error in cogserver.log of Standby Content Manager:

DPR-CMI-4007 Unable to perform an active Content Manager election on the local IP node.

DPR-CMI-4006 Unable to determine the active Content Manager. Will retry periodically.
